Back in Service - Yea! - Encouragement

Posted by anonymous on May 9, 2012 at 5:05 PM

It's amazing how out of the loop one feels when the computer goes down. Well, we're back! Something I'd like to share to be an encouragement to you as this was for me.

1 Chronicles 28:9 New Living Translation (NLT)

9 “And Solomon(insert your name), my son (daughter), learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the Lord sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever."

An exerpt from my bible: ALL KNOWING: Nothing can be hidden from God. He sees and understands everything in our heart. David found this out the hard way when God sent Nathan to expose David's sin of adultrey and murder (2 Samuel 12).  David told Solomon to be completely open with God and dedicated to him. It makes no sense to try to hide any thoughts and actions from an all-knowing God. This should cause you joy, not fear, because God knows even the worst things about you and loved you anyway.

The ALL knowing Creator of ALL Heaven and earth desires and intimate personal relationship with us. The one who holds the stars in the heavens, causes the earth to spin at the precise speed to keep us all intact. Wow! He causes each one of our hearts to beat. Wow! He loves us no matter what! All He asks is for us to accept Him. Is that so hard for us to do? Can we hold the earth together? Can we cause our heart to beat? Can we sustain eternal life? All He asks is that we believe in Him.  Just something to think about!

Romans 8:38 (NLT)
