God's promise to our weariness..

Posted by anonymous on June 12, 2012 at 3:55 PM

The following quote comes from a Facebook application entitled - God's Messages which, they send daily words of encouragement.

Today, God's message for you is that time is a physical measurement. Time passes as you grow older, relationships change as time goes on, appointments come and go with the ticking of the clock. When you are no longer under the rule of time, then you are in the realm of the spirit. Take time today to do something timeless, the thing that makes you forget time, and make your spirits soar."

As I read this I was reminded of how tiresome our journey can be. Then I was reminded how awesome God is and how he wants us to soar like wings on eagles but that means we must be willing to take the time to soar with Him.

Isaiah 40:29-31 (NLT)

29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. 30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. 31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Blessings,
